The TPO114 is a cost-efficient OTU1 add-drop multiplexer. On the client side it has 4 SoftPorts, i.e. serial ports that can be configured to any protocol, any rate between 0.1 and 2.5Gbps. TPO114 supports both the standard G.709 ODU0/ODU1 mappings as well as proprietary mappings into 155Mbps timeslots that allows for even more efficient bandwidth utilization. On the line side TPO114 has two OTU1 ports.
TPO114 offers connectivity at ODU0, ODU1 and 155Mbps timeslot level. A mate interface allows two TPO114s to be connected together to generate a small OTN cross-connect with 8 client ports and 4 (OTU1) line ports.
