Linear Li-Ion Battery Charger - Programmable charging current up to 1.1A Fast Charge in SilTerra 0.18um

Overview

This IP is mainly responsible for controlling the charging
process of a Li-Ion battery and for providing a regulated
voltage to the system. The charging current can
be adjusted from 60mA up to 1.1A through a external
resistor or by the digital control. The current provided
to the system can also be adjusted up to 1.8A
through the same procedure. This IP also features a
dynamic power management (DPM) which automatically
reduces the charging current when the limit current
may cause the system to fall. This IP also had a
features bulk voltage control which connects the substrate
of the power device correctly in order to prevent
damage on the circuit.
