Overview
GPIO is a general-purpose input/output unit that provides basic input/output functionalities. M31 provides silicon-proven GPIO libraries in a variety of process nodes. This GPIO library is especially tailored for high-density, low-power and high-integration user-specific design applications in the consumer product, portable device and others general purpose markets.
Key Features
- Basic input/output unit for a chip with digital core
- Consisting of driver, receiver & pull-up/down resistors
- According to PAD arrangement, classified into two groups: Inline I/O & Stagger one.
- M31 also develops fail-safe or tolerance I/O for special application. The leakage current is inhibited when I/O power ramp down (Diagram A).
