The OmegaCORE FlexO-1/2/4-SR/ZR100/200/300/400 Framers are multi channel and multi-rate FlexO framers that support 4xFlexO-1-SR, 2 x FlexO-2-SR and 1 x FlexO-4-SR configurations.
Supports OTU25-RS, OTU50-RS, FlexO-1-SR, FlexO-2-SR and FlexO-4-SR in any combination, on any port or groups of ports, up to a maximum total bandwidth of 400 Gbps.
Supports 4 Channels of Framing
In additional to FlexO-1/2/4-SR function, the Core supports up to 4 channels of OTU25/50-RS framing. For OTU25/50-RS and FlexO-1-SR, the Core also supports legacy FEC RS(528, 514). The north-bound interface from the multi-channel OTUC/ OTUw client interface provides a configurable system interface. The southbound interface is mapped (at the PMA layer) to the on-chip SERDES. The core is responsible for channel alignment and FEC (where applicable).
