Extensible FPGA Framework (EFW) provides a verified set of productivity
solutions, including module targeted physical interface components, device
drivers and APIs for the Xilinx’s KC705 module.
EFW enables the end user to skip the tedious and time consuming phase of module bring-up by providing module targeted and hardware verified physical interfaces for the KC705. Thus, an end user can concentrate its design and development efforts on target applications instead of the module specific details.

- 40Gbps Ethernet using the optical interface FMC (HTG-FMC-SFP-OC) with QSFP+ interface
- 10Gbps Low Latency Ethernet using the integrated SFP+ interface 10/100/1G Triple-Speed Ethernet using the integrated RJ-45 interface
- Time limited (15min) synthesizable binaries and full simulation libraries for KC705 hardware verified Multi-channel (4) scatter-gather block DMA controller
- All modules with industry standard AXI-4 streaming interface for data path and AXI-4 Lite interface for control, configuration and memory interface
- Top level RTL interface wrapper for custom user design block for easy implementation of user logic
