4.4 GHz To 7.75 GHz Low phase Noise Fractional-N Synthesizer

Overview

The WEA48S55T is a broadband fractional–N frequency synthesizer with integrated phase sync function. It uses a reference input ranging from 25 MHz to 150 MHz, which can be doubled with the use of an integrated frequency doubler. The WEA8S55T generates RF signals spanning from 4.4 GHz to 6.4 GHz and from 6.87 GHz to 7.75 GHz for Flavor 1 and Flavor 2, respectively. Flavor 1 comprises three integrated VCOs, while Flavor 2 comprises two integrated VCOs. The synthesizer has the ability to automatically lock into the selected frequency with the aid of an integrated autocalibration algorithm. The WEA48S55T is implemented in the TSMC55 process and is powered by a 1.8 V supply.
