Combined Power On Reset and Brown Out Reset

Overview

To proceed, putting a voltage detector at power domains input is needed in order to send Power-On-Reset (POR) and Brown-out Reset (BOR) signals. Our flexible offering includes both ultra low power detectors dedicated to Always-on domain and watchers for the rest of the SoC.

Key Features

  • Ultra low power consumption of 13 uA in normal mode and 5 nA in low power mode enabling to optimize the overall consumption of the Always-On.
  • Possibility to disable the BOR monitoring during low power mode in order to save power.
  • High programmability: POR, PON and BOR thresholds are all programmable. BOR allows a dynamic programming to comply with the supply voltage of the power domain.
  • Re-bootable PON each time the corresponding regulator is re-started.
