Silicon Valley Nation: Top 5 doomed IC companies

Systems engineers have low confidence in the longterm prospects of foreign IC suppliers--especially Japanese vendors--believing such companies will be either out of business or acquired in the next few years.
That's the result of an informal EE Times poll conducted on the top 20 IC vendors in the wake of stories about the health and future of companies such as AMD, NXP and Renesas
