SGMII
Overview
CoreSGMII provides a solution for ten bit interface (TBI) on gigabit media independent interface (G/MII) based designs. The CoreSGMII takes the G/MII data stream and encodes it into 10-bit symbols. In the Receive direction, the 10-bit symbols are decoded and converted into the receive G/MII signal set. The CoreSGMII is managed and monitored through the management data input/output (MDIO) interface.
