100M/1G/ TSN Endpoint DO-254 IP Core
AeroTSN-EP provides Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) capabilities to devices that operate as end systems in the network.
Overview
AeroTSN-EP provides Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) capabilities to devices that operate as end systems in the network. End systems typically behave as the source (talker) and/or sink (listener) of the data that is exchanged within the network.
TSN extends standard Ethernet with mechanisms that enable deterministic communication, traffic scheduling, redundancy and time-aware operation. For aerospace onboard networks, these capabilities are being consolidated through the IEEE 802.1DP-2025 profile, which defines how selected TSN and IEEE 802.1 security mechanisms can be applied to aerospace Ethernet networks. AeroTSN-EP is compliant with IEEE 802.1DP-2025 profile and developed according to DO-254 / ED-80 for safety-critical applications.
This product is co-developed and co-owned in collaboration with SafeCore Devices, a technology company specialized in the development of programmable logic devices for safety-critical applications with vast expertise in DO-254.
Technical Specifications
Communication Interfaces

Certification Kit
AeroTSN-EP developed according to RTCA DO-254 / EUROCAE ED-80 guidance with DAL A criteria.
RTCA DO-254 / EUROCAE ED-80 “Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware” is a standard, published by RTCA and EUROCAE, that provides guidance for the development of airborne electronic hardware. The DO-254 / ED-80 standard is recognized as acceptable means of compliance by authorities like FAA and EASA.
DO-254 / ED-80 defines five Design Assurance Levels (DAL): A, B, C, D and E. The DAL of a hardware item determines the criteria to be satisfied by its life-cycle processes, with DAL A being the most rigorous.
SOC-E offers the possibility to acquire the full Certification Kit of AeroTSN-EP IP Core, which provides sufficient data and services to use the IP Core in a DAL A development.
The detailed content of each Certification Kit is provided upon request.
For customers that only need DAL C or DAL D, reduced versions of the Certification Kits at a lower price. These reduced Certification Kits include less life-cycle data and services.
