Patriot Scientific Announces Portfolio License Agreement with Worldwide Leader in Consumer Electronics

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Jul 30, 2008 -- Patriot Scientific Corp. today announced that Audiovox Corporation has purchased a Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) (MMP) Portfolio license from The TPL group, Patriot Scientific's exclusive licensing agent. Audiovox is a leading manufacturer and marketer of mobile and consumer electronics.

The Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) Portfolio contains intellectual property, including seven U.S. patents and patents in Europe and Japan, jointly owned by Patriot Scientific Corporation and the privately held The TPL Group. The MMP(TM) Portfolio enables enhanced performance in microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), embedded processors and system-on-chip (SoC) devices.
