intoPIX to Demonstrate JPEG XS, IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110 Solutions at NAB Show New York 2026

Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium — October 12, 2026 — intoPIX will exhibit at NAB Show New York 2026 (Booth #932, Javits Center, October 21–22), demonstrating its JPEG XS codec portfolio and its IPMX-certified, SMPTE ST 2110-compatible Titanium platform, alongside TicoRAW workflows that bring RAW camera feeds into IP production infrastructure.

JPEG XS: Zero-Latency Compression for Live Production

As co-author of the JPEG XS standard, intoPIX offers the industry's broadest range of JPEG XS implementations: FPGA IP cores, plus SDKs and plugins for CPU, GPU and ARM platforms. The TicoXS FIP codec family supports HD, 4K and 8K in 4:2:2, 4:4:4 and HDR formats, with Temporal Differential Coding (TDC) and JPEG XS Extended support aligned with the IPMX specification. Ultra-dense FPGA implementations enable more channels per device, delivering visually lossless video at a fraction of uncompressed bandwidth, with latency measured in microseconds — for in-facility ST 2110 networks as well as REMI and distributed live production.

Titanium FPGA SoC EDK — Now IPMX Certified

The Titanium FPGA SoC EDK recently completed IPMX certification testing (VSF TR-10 series). It gives OEMs a single codebase covering both SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX, supporting PTP and non-PTP timing modes in a compact FPGA footprint, to bring cameras, encoders, decoders, gateways and displays to market faster.

Titanium SDK 2.0

Titanium SDK 2.0 brings JPEG XS, SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, NMOS, PTP and AES67 to COTS hardware, from edge computers to video servers, enabling software-defined senders and receivers without dedicated capture cards or specialized hardware.

Titanium Apps

The IPMX-certified Titanium Apps suite — TitaniumViewer and TitaniumShow — turns any Windows PC into an IPMX and ST 2110 endpoint. New features include the Privacy Encryption Protocol (PEP, based on VSF TR-10-13) for protected streams on shared networks, and uncompressed HD over SMPTE ST 2110-20 in TitaniumViewer, alongside JPEG XS-compressed workflows in the same application.

TicoRAW: RAW from Camera to Datacenter

Based on the JPEG XS RAW ISO standard, TicoRAW moves image processing out of the camera and into the datacenter or cloud. RAW Bayer camera feeds travel over SMPTE ST 2110 or RDMA, opening the door to centralized color processing, remote production and AI-assisted workflows.

“New York is where broadcast, sports and live production come together, and that is exactly where JPEG XS has proven itself,” says Jean-Baptiste Lorent, Head of Marketing, intoPIX. “At NAB Show New York, we will show how the same JPEG XS and IPMX building blocks run across FPGA, FPGA SoC and software on COTS hardware. OEMs can bring interoperable ST 2110 and IPMX products to market faster, and production teams can deploy them without compromising on image quality or latency.”
