SiRF signs licence agreement for Imagination Technologies' multimedia IP
-- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") - reports that SiRF Technology Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRF; “SiRF”), a leading provider of GPS-enabled location platforms, has licensed a number of Imagination’s latest generation graphics, video and display technologies for use in its multifunction system-on-chip location platforms targeting consumer navigation products.
The agreement follows the successful collaboration between the two companies on SiRFprima, an innovative integrated location platform solution, designed for a new-generation of consumer navigation devices enabling a much richer user experience.

Under the terms of its licensing arrangements, Imagination receives licence fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP.
