MoSys, Inc. Appoints Dave DeMaria Vice President of Business Operations
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Aug. 25, 2008 -- MoSys, Inc., a leading provider of high-density system-on-ship (SoC) memory and analog/mixed-signal intellectual property (IP), today announced the appointment of Dave DeMaria as its Vice President of Business Operations. Mr. DeMaria is a successful executive who brings over 25 years of experience in the electronics industry to MoSys.
Prior to MoSys, Mr. DeMaria was CEO of Optimal Coporation, and electronic design automation (EDA) company, which he helped grow and merge with Apache Design Solutions, where he served as a senior vice president. Previously, he held a number of executive positions in leading product lifecycle management (PLM) and EDA companies. He spent eight years at Cadence Design Systems, where he served as executive vice president of the Systems business unit and as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and strategy.

As an inducement material to Mr. DeMaria's employment, in accordance with NASDAQ Stock Market Marketplace Rule 4350(i)(l)(A)(iv), the Company has granted him a stock option to purchase 275,000 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $4.57 per share, which equals the closing price of a share of MoSys common stock on the NASDAQ Global Market on August 18, 2008.
