So Who's Ahead On 14nm?
“If Intel’s 14nm process is so superior, how come Intel execs didn’t convince Apple to dump frenemy Samsung?” asks Jean-Louis Gassee in his Monday Note this morning.
Intel, of course, likes to think its process technology is superior to everyone else’s.
But Samsung announced last week that it was churning out Apple processors on its 14nm line in Texas.
Hence Gassee’s question. He sees three possible answers to it:
