VSI Alliance Announces CTO and VP and New Board Member
- Gary Delp, LSI Logic elected as VSIA CTO
- Raminderpal Singh, IBM elected as VSIA Vice President
- Hewlett-Packard elected to the VSIA Board
Wakefield, MA. - November 2, 2005 - The VSI Alliance (VSIA) today announced new additions to the Board of Directors and executive staff. Hewlett-Packard was elected to the Board and it has appointed Mobashar Yazdani as the Hewlett-Packard representative to the Board. The CTO and Vice President positions are staff positions and both of these are new positions within VSIA. Gary Delp, LSI Logic was elected to the CTO position and will be responsible for setting and implementing the VSIA technical direction. Raminderpal Singh, IBM, was elected to the position of VSIA Vice President and will aid in setting and executing on VSIA vision.
Hewlett-Packard joins an impressive Board that includes the following Board members: ARM Ltd., Cadence Design Systems, Freescale Semiconductor, IBM Microelectronics, LSI Logic Corporation, Mentor Graphics, Philips Semiconductor, ST Microelectronics and TSMC.
"As VSIA grows to the next phase of execution, we have successfully grown the leadership team, with a new Board member, our first CTO, and a Vice-President," said Mike Kaskowitz, VSIA president.
