Chip Interfaces and Soliton Technologies jointly test their I3C Solution at MIPI Plugfest in Poland
Copenhagen, September 03, 2025 – Chip Interfaces, a leading provider of high-performance chip-to-chip interface IP cores, and Soliton Technologies, a high-technology software company, announced the successful joint testing of their I3C solution at the recently concluded MIPI I3C Plugfest held in Poland.
The MIPI Plugfest, organized by the MIPI Alliance, brought together leading semiconductor and test solution providers to validate interoperability and conformance of I3C devices and tools
Tested Solution Overview:
- Chip Interfaces contributed its silicon-proven I3C Target IP, optimized for power-efficient, high-speed sensor and peripheral interfacing.
- Soliton Technologies provided its I3C Protocol Validation Suite, enabling protocol compliance testing, error injection, and performance analysis.
“Participating in the MIPI Plugfest with Soliton was a major milestone. It validated not only the robustness of our I3C Target IP, but also the synergy between our designs and Soliton’s test environment” said Piotr Koziuk, Product Manager at Chip Interfaces.
“This collaboration enabled us to demonstrate our advanced I3C Protocol validation test suite. It was a great opportunity to show how Soliton’s tools can help silicon vendors accelerate validation and shorten time-to-market” said Ilayaraja Selvaraj, Senior – Technical Lead at Soliton Technologies.
Commitment to MIPI Ecosystem
Both companies are active contributors to the MIPI ecosystem. The success at the plugfest reinforces their commitment to standards-based innovation, ensuring that SoC designers, validation teams, and OEMs have access to interoperable, production-ready I3C solutions.
