SI Electronics Licences Video Processing Core From Imagination Technologies
October 11, 2007 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc -- a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") -- confirms that SI Electronics Ltd ("SIE"), a leader in graphics processors for amusement systems, has licensed Imagination’s
POWERVR® VXD370 multi-standard video decoding technology under a multiple-use license arrangement for use in devices targeting the amusement market.
This announcement extends a long relationship between the two companies. Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP shipped by partners.
