Freescale Semiconductor Licenses Imagination Technologies' PowerVR MBX Lite Core from ARM
January 28, 2005 -- London, UK: Imagination Technologies [LSE:IMG], a leader in system-on-chip intellectual property (SoC IP), reports that Freescale Semiconductor has licensed the PowerVR MBX Lite graphics core from its partner ARM [LSE:ARM; Nasdaq:ARMHY].
Under the terms of its licensing arrangements Imagination Technologies receives license fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination Technologies’ IP shipped by partners.>
