Quintauris and Microchip Technology join forces to grow RISC-V® adoption
Engagement also brings Quintauris benchmarking and software integration services to Microchip’s RISC-V development pipeline
October 14, 2026 -- Quintauris and Microchip Technology have entered into a partnership to support the advancement of RISC-V® by contributing to industry efforts that improve interoperability, software portability and consistency. Quintauris was founded to enable compatible RISC-V-based products, provide reference architectures, and help establish solutions to be widely used across various markets.
“Microchip embodies decades of trust and leadership in embedded computing,” said Pedro Lopez, CEO of Quintauris. “This collaboration marks another major step forward in the advancement of RISC-V, and we are honored to partner with Microchip on this journey.”
Quintauris supports semiconductor vendors by helping ensure their RISC-V-based designs meet expected use-case performance and compliance requirements before they reach production.
For Microchip, the collaboration is expected to help reduce manual validation efforts and shorten the path from design to silicon.
“Our customers are increasingly evaluating RISC-V for MCU applications and want confidence that the ecosystem will support their products for the long term,” said Greg Robinson, corporate vice president of Microchip’s MCU, wireless and development tools business units. “Through our collaboration with Quintauris, we are helping advance the standards, software foundations and validation practices that help reduce development risk and support greater compatibility across the RISC-V ecosystem.”
Quintauris continues to expand its ecosystem of industry leaders working together to accelerate the adoption of RISC-V and strengthen the path from development to production.
