Denali Software Names Bob Pierce Head of Flash Products
Industry Veteran Responsible for Launching New Line of Flash Products from Denali
PALO ALTO, Calif., December 7, 2005 -- Denali Software today announced that semiconductor industry veteran Robert (Bob) Pierce has joined Denali as the Sr. Director of Flash products. He reports to Sanjay Srivastava, Denali's president and chief executive officer (CEO) and is responsible for Denali's new line of Flash Product development.

Pierce has more than 20 years of industry experience and has expertise in a variety of technologies, including power devices, data conversion, analog, optics and ASIC technology and design. He joins Denali from eSilicon Corporation and brings a comprehensive background in memory, IP, design automation technology, and marketing. Previously, he was vice president of Marketing and Sales for communications products at Infineon Technologies and headed up the specialty memory business where he developed its embedded DRAM program and development of the RLDRAM. Prior to Infineon, he spent eight years with Oki Semiconductor in various sales and marketing positions.
