ASICLAND Secures USD 17.6 Million Storage Controller Mass Production Contract
- First Mass Production Agreement of 2026 with Pre-Confirmed Annual Volume
- Storage Controller Supply for Electronic, IoT, and Embedded Device Applications
January 8, 2026 -- ASICLAND Co., Ltd., a Korea-based ASIC design solutions provider, announced on January 8 that it has secured a mass production contract in the storage controller segment, marking its first mass-production reference for 2026.
The contract value amounts to USD 17.56 million, with annual production volumes pre-confirmed. Mass production deliveries will be carried out sequentially through December 31, 2026.
ASICLAND will support the project based on TSMC manufacturing processes, providing end-to-end assistance covering design optimization, process coordination, and yield management throughout the mass-production lifecycle. The company is the only domestic design house in Korea to hold TSMC’s Value Chain Alliance (VCA) partner status.
The storage controller to be supplied is a core system semiconductor used across a wide range of electronic, IoT, and embedded devices, including mobile products, consumer electronics, mobility, and robotics applications. Given that the product category requires extensive reliability validation and strict customer qualification, the pre-confirmation of annual production volumes reflects ASICLAND’s proven capability in mass-production execution and supply stability.
An ASICLAND representative stated that the agreement reaffirms the company’s mass-production readiness and supply reliability, adding that the confirmed annual volume supports a more stable, recurring revenue structure.
CEO Jong-Min Lee commented that ASICLAND will continue to strengthen partnerships with customers across the system semiconductor sector, while building a sustainable growth foundation based on long-term mass-production projects.
Meanwhile, ASICLAND has recently expanded its portfolio of mass-production projects in both industrial and consumer semiconductor markets, gradually increasing the proportion of revenue generated from mass-production engagements.
