ASICLAND Reports 2025 Revenue of KRW 72.8 Billion, Positions for Future Growth Through Strategic Investments
- Revenue deferral due to customer development schedule adjustments and increased investment in advanced-node and AI R&D
- Performance improvement expected in 2026 with mass-production revenue conversion and expanding global project wins
March 13, 2026 — ASICLAND (KOSDAQ: 445090), a leading provider of ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design solutions, announced on March 12 that it recorded KRW 72.8 billion in consolidated revenue for 2025.
According to the disclosure, the company reported KRW 72.8 billion in revenue and an operating loss of KRW 27.6 billion for the year. The results primarily reflect proactive investments in advanced process design capabilities and the internal development of AI semiconductor design technologies, aimed at strengthening the company’s long-term competitiveness in the global semiconductor market.
The company cited several key factors behind the temporary performance fluctuation, including revenue deferrals resulting from adjustments to major customer development schedules, increased overseas investment to expand advanced-node capabilities at its Taiwan subsidiary, and expanded R&D spending for new research projects. ASICLAND emphasized that these cost increases represent strategic investments to secure future technology leadership.
The company expects its performance to improve significantly beginning in 2026. The global demand for customized AI semiconductors is rapidly increasing, creating a favorable market environment. In addition, several positive factors are expected to contribute to future growth, including recognition of deferred revenue from 2025, increased mass-production revenue, and expansion of the global customer base.
Early signs of the company’s investment outcomes are already emerging. In January, ASICLAND secured a KRW 25.4 billion mass-production contract for a storage controller, marking the beginning of its transition toward a more profitable mass-production revenue structure. As development projects move into the production phase, development and operational costs are expected to decrease while profitability improves.
ASICLAND has also continued to secure global contracts since the beginning of 2026. In February, the company signed a new development agreement with BrainChip, a global neuromorphic AI semiconductor company, further demonstrating its technological competitiveness in the global semiconductor industry.
On March 12, ASICLAND also announced a new contract with a customer based in Malaysia. By securing customers in North America—the world’s largest semiconductor market—and Malaysia, which is emerging as a key global hub for semiconductor back-end manufacturing, the company expects to strengthen its global customer references and expand its presence in both the U.S. and Asian markets.
An ASICLAND representative stated:
“Although 2025 was a year marked by project schedule adjustments and increased R&D investment, it was also a period in which we successfully internalized advanced AI semiconductor design technologies and prepared for mass-production transitions.
Beginning in 2026, we expect clear performance improvements driven by full-scale mass-production revenue and the expansion of new global projects.”
