AI Startup Esperanto Winds Down Silicon Business

Following the recent closure of Untether AI, AI chip startup Esperanto is winding down its silicon business, EE Times has learned. The RISC-V data center chip startup is seeking a buyer for its technology, or to license its IP. Most of its employees have already moved on.
Esperanto CEO Art Swift confirmed that the company is shutting down its European subsidiaries. The company had a significant engineering team in Spain and a modest presence in Serbia.
