oViCs names Jess Herrera as Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing
Saratoga, CA -- February 12, 2014 -- oViCs, a leading provider of industry-standard advanced video IP cores for HEVC / H.265, today announced the appointment of Jess Herrera as the company's new Vice President of Sales and Marketing, reporting to President and CEO, Sorin Cismas.
With more than 20 years of semiconductor industry experience, Mr. Herrera was the Vice President of Sales and US Country Manager for Chips & Media, and prior to that Director of Sales at MIPS Technologies. He also held various positions at Cirrus Logic, Stream Machine, Zoran and CompCore.
