Industry Veteran Vijay Dube Takes Helm At Elliptic Technologies
March 29, 2011 – Ottawa, Canada: Elliptic Technologies, a leading provider of security semiconductor IP and software, has announced the appointment of Vijay Dube as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, to take the company into its next phase of growth. Vijay has extensive experience as a senior executive with a variety of fast growing start-ups and high profile semiconductor companies focused in high performance wireless communications and multimedia. He succeeds Rick White who had led Elliptic over the past five years to become the leading provider of embedded security solutions.
Vijay has over 30 years of experience in mobile wireless, semiconductors, multi-media and consumer electronics. He was formerly COO at Wavesat, a 4G Broadband Wireless company. He also served as VP Marketing and Business Development at Atsana, a semiconductor company developing video and imaging chipset for mobile handsets. Vijay co-founded Dipix Technologies, which was subsequently acquired by Dalsa-Coreco. He has been recently advising startup technology companies as part of his role with NRC-IRAP.
