Toumaz Technology Limited licenses low power radio integrated circuit technology to Siemens Roke Manor Research Limited
-- Toumaz Technology Limited has signed a licence agreement to deliver IP for the design of certain sub-systems (or circuit blocks) for a low power radio chip being developed by Roke Manor Research Limited.
Roke Manor Research Limited is wholly owned by Siemens and works in a range of markets across the civil and defence arenas and employs some of the world’s most talented engineers and scientists. Based in Romsey on the south coast of England, Roke Manor Research Limited develops novel solutions to demanding customer problems, and produces the communications and electronic sensor technology they need to be leaders in their field.
Commenting on the deal, Keith Errey, CEO of Toumaz Technology, said, “This contract provides Roke Manor Research Limited access to proven RF semiconductor IP enabling them to get to get to market earlier at lower cost. It is a very strong validation of the Toumaz technology and the strength of our design team. An early return in advance of actual product sales is good news for our investors and confirms management’s view of the attractiveness and value of the low power technology.”
