SkyeChip's World-First HBM4/HBM3E Combo PHY IP for SF4X Listed on Samsung Foundry CONNECT

May 28, 2026 — Penang, Malaysia — SkyeChip Berhad today announced that its HBM4/HBM3E combo PHY IP has been officially listed on Samsung Foundry CONNECT, Samsung Foundry's IP ecosystem platform. As the world's first combined HBM4/HBM3E PHY IP implemented on Samsung Foundry's LN04LPP (SF4X) technology, this listing marks an important milestone in SkyeChip's support for high-bandwidth memory solutions targeting next-generation AI and data center accelerators.

The combo PHY IP is implemented on Samsung Foundry LN04LPP (SF4X) technology and supports both HBM4 and HBM3E memory standards within a single, unified subsystem, delivering data rates of up to 12.8 Gbps/pin. This dual-standard support gives customers the flexibility to address multiple performance and cost points without redesigning their memory interface, while delivering the bandwidth density required for large language model training, inference, and other memory-bound workloads.

As the first HBM4/HBM3E combo solution available on SF4X, the IP is optimised for high signal integrity and robustness at advanced data rates, with flexible physical placement enabling efficient integration into complex, multi-die SoC floorplans. The IP is currently DK-ready, allowing customers to begin early design and integration activities and accelerate development timelines while maintaining reliability at advanced data rates.
