Samsung Licenses Wi-LAN Wireless Technology
OTTAWA, Canada – January 15, 2009 – Wi-LAN Inc. (“Wi-LAN” or the “Company”) (TSX:WIN), a leading technology innovation and licensing company, today announced that Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has signed a license agreement related to certain patents of Wi‑LAN in the area of wireless technology. The multi-year agreement covers all wireless products sold by Samsung. The specific terms of the agreement are confidential.
