PlexusAV And IntoPIX Strengthen IPMX Ecosystem With New P-AVN-4 Featuring JPEG XS TDC
Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium – January 20, 2026 – intoPIX, a leading provider of innovative image compression technologies, and PlexusAV, a pioneer in IPMX solutions for the professional AV market, today announced the launch of PlexusAV’s new IPMX-ready P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D, dedicated encoder and decoder solutions leveraging the intoPIX TicoXS FIP codec, with support for the JPEG XS Temporal Differential Coding (TDC) profile.
The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D represent a significant step forward in PlexusAV’s IPMX product portfolio. Designed as dedicated encoder and dedicated decoder devices, they provide integrators with greater deployment flexibility while simplifying AV-over-IP system architectures. Like other PlexusAV P-AVN products, they rely on intoPIX’s proven TicoXS FIP technology to deliver high performance, ultra-low latency, and full IPMX interoperability.
The integration of JPEG XS TDC further enhances the solution by optimizing bandwidth usage without compromising image quality or latency. By leveraging temporal similarities between successive frames, the TDC profile enables visually lossless video transport over standard 1-Gigabit Ethernet networks, supporting scalable and cost-effective IPMX installations.

Key Benefits of the Plexus P-AVN-4:
- Dedicated Encode and Decode Devices: Optimized designs for transmission and reception in IPMX workflows
- Optimized Bandwidth Usage: intoPIX JPEG XS TDC reduces network load while maintaining premium visual quality
- Ultra-Low Latency: Ideal for live events, interactive applications, and real-time AV workflows
- Full IPMX Interoperability: Compatible with any IPMX-ready product, including the intoPIX 100% software solutionsTitaniumShow and TitaniumViewer.
Support for the JPEG XS TDC profile allows PlexusAV IPMX systems to achieve high visual quality with reduced bandwidth requirements, while preserving the ultra-low latency that professional AV demands,” said Jean-Baptiste Lorent, Head of Media, Entertainment & ProAV Group at intoPIX. “We are pleased to see PlexusAV extending its IPMX lineup with additional products powered by TicoXS FIP.”
“The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D are designed to give customers greater flexibility while remaining fully aligned with the IPMX vision of open, interoperable AV-over-IP,” said Steven Cogels, Global Director of Business Development at PlexusAV. “By leveraging the latest capabilities from intoPIX, we are continuing to expand the IPMX ecosystem.”
The P-AVN-4E and P-AVN-4D featuring JPEG XS TDC will be showcased at ISE 2026 (Barcelona, February 3–6, 2026) on the intoPIX booth (Hall 5, Booth 5F700), and also presented on the PlexusAV booth (Hall 5, Booth 5J700).
