eInfochips Expands Verification IP Portfolio With Ultra-Wide-Band -- UWB -- and Serial Attached SCSI -- SAS -- Verification Components
Expanded offering extends modular reusability to UWB and SAS.
DesignCon 2005, SANTA CLARA, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE) - Jan. 31, 2005
-- eInfochips, Inc., a leading provider of ASIC verification services, IP cores and embedded systems solutions, today announced the availability of two new verification components at DesignCon 2005. The Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) SystemC Verification Components (VCs) are ready-to-use, configurable, functional verification environments. They become the latest addition to VeriSuite,<> eInfochips' package of verification services and IP library, and are targeted to silicon chip companies in the wireless and storage area networking space.
"Reduced time-to-verify and bottom-up verification of complex SoCs are some of the direct customer benefits associated with using our VCs", said Tapan Joshi, vice president marketing at eInfochips. "eInfochips' object oriented verification methodology easily supports scalability and re-usability in verification components, enabling them to be used across different modules and projects."
The VCs work with all HDL simulators that support SystemC, which can be used as a building block for establishing a comprehensive verification environment. They are compliant to UWB 802.15.3 MAC and SAS-1.1 specifications respectively.
VeriSuite
VeriSuite, the industry's most comprehensive verification package, was introduced by eInfochips in November, 2004. Backed by 200+ man-years of verification knowledge, it incorporates verification services and verification IP library which includes most industry standard interfaces. It also provides; verification environments that can be easily scaled to system level.
Availability and Pricing
The UWB and SAS VCs are individually priced at $10K. Deliverables include fully verified Verification Component code with User guide, release notes and test suite. eInfochips' verification experts meet customer requirements related to integrating VC's into test environment and other support related issues.
