Silicon Laboratories Grants Limited License for FM Radio Technology to RDA Microelectronics
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug 26, 2010 -- Silicon Laboratories Inc. today announced a patent licensing and royalty agreement with RDA Microelectronics, a China-based fabless IC company. The agreement grants RDA a limited license to Silicon Labs' international portfolio of FM radio patents.
Silicon Laboratories holds nearly 1,000 patents and patent applications related to mixed-signal ICs and a significant number relate to RF and radio design.
