Emerging Memory Technologies Inc. (EMT) opens new Design Center in India
—Emerging Memory Technologies Inc. (EMT), a worldwide leader in memory design services and embedded memory intellectual property (IP), today announced the opening of a new design center in Bangalore, India. This center will help EMT continue its vigorous growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
“India is set for phenomenal growth in all areas of semiconductor industry, including memory design” said Sreedhar Natarajan, President and CEO, Emerging Memory Technologies Inc. “We know from experience that India is home to some of the world’s brightest engineers, as several of our top employees today are originally from there. India is important to EMT and we are proud to become part of the Bangalore semiconductor community.”
In a global economy, companies need to reach to its customers world-wide; the Bangalore Design Center is a key part of EMT’s global strategy. The new center will be capable of providing state-of-the-art quality designs, including both commodity and embedded memory in a broad range of architectures and manufacturing processes.
“Our customers require memory solutions that provide very high-density, while offering sophisticated design trade-offs in area, performance and power” added Mr. Natarajan. “Our Indian office will allow us to enhance the integration with key customers, advancing the joint decision making required to successfully produce world-class semiconductor products”.
