Artisan Showcases Its High-Bandwidth System Interface PHYs at DesignCon East Conference
Digital and Analog IP in Advanced Process Technologies Also Presented
SUNNYVALE, Calif., -- June 20, 2003 -- Artisan Components, Inc., (Nasdaq:ARTI), a leading provider of physical intellectual property (IP), today announced it will showcase its high-bandwidth system interface physical layer (PHY) technology including its PCI Express, SerDes, Serial ATA and DDRI/DDRII/GDDRIII PHY IP at the DesignCon East Conference, June 23 through 25, 2003 in Marlbourgh, Massachusetts. Also featured in Artisan's Booth 106 will be its portfolio of memory generators, standard cell libraries, general-purpose and specialty I/Os and analog IP products.
With the recent formation of its Analog/Mixed-Signal Business Unit, in connection with the acquisition of NurLogic Design, Inc., Artisan combines products and in-house design expertise up to a system level that provides IC designers with choices from its broad portfolio of digital and analog IP in many advanced process technologies. Artisan also collaborates with a wide range of EDA and soft-core IP providers, which can help accelerate IC design and production.
About Artisan's System Interface PHYs
Artisan's SerDes cores provide high-bandwidth connections between router backplane links. The PCI-Express 2.5Gbps PHY IP is designed to be a scalable, high-speed I/O interconnect for "in-the-box" applications. The 1.5Gbps Serial ATA is a differential serial interface targeted for storage applications. The DDRI/DDRII/GDDRIII interface offers a complete DDR solution targeted to address the uncertainty in the DRAM interface market, by supporting virtually all DDR interface standards
