Overview

The SPMI Host and Device IP (Configurable Controller Cores) implements MIPI SPMI2.0 protocols. It is designed to be configured as a SPMI Host, SPMI Device Controller IPs.

The SPMI Host and Device IP is used to reduce power consumption in electronic devices to improve battery life and increase power budget for features such as color screens and back lights by accurately monitoring power performance level and control various supply voltages.

Verification

The SPMI Host and Device IP has been rigorously verified and has been made production ready. It has been verified through extensive simulation and compliance check using multiple 3rd party Verification IPs. The Coverage report is available upon request. The IPs are verified during Synthesis, place and route and are ready. This design can be ported to an ASIC or an FPGA design.

Support

The design core is delivered within 90 days from purchase. Thirty days of phone and email technical support is included. Optional maintenance support options are available for purchase.

  •  SPMI Host can decode all command frames including those marked as optional-to determine accurately end of sequence

  •  Advanced Error Management unit support Parity Errors in Command frames, Address frames and Data frames
  •  Error handling mitigates errors due to Unsupported address, Unsupported Commands, Parity Error in Address and Data Frames
