Trebia Networks Debugs 4 Gbps Integrated Storage Network Processor Chip SNP-1000 with LogicVision's Validator
San Jose, Calif. - February 24, 2003 - LogicVision, Inc., (NASDAQ:LGVN), a leading provider of embedded test for integrated circuits and systems, today announced that Trebia Networks' has purchased LogicVision's Validator desktop at-speed silicon debug station. Trebia successfully used LogicVision's Validator desktop silicon debug station for at-speed debugging of its first highly integrated network processor chip, SNP 1000™. The combination of LogicVision's Embedded Test technology and the Validator enabled Trebia to debug its multi-million gate system-on-a-chip (SOC) within only days.
"Trebia Networks is at the forefront in providing multiple specialized network processors that can handle increased network traffic, while also offering critical test reusability once installed in a system," said Mukesh Mowji, LogicVision Inc.'s vice president of sales and marketing. "This is the latest example of the traction our embedded test technology and Validator product are gaining with leading semiconductor and systems companies."
"LogicVision's commitment to providing us with a cost-effective test solution allowed us to test our multi-million gate chips quickly in the prototyping stage and use the tests developed to rapidly move into full production," said Wayne Koch, Trebia Network's vice president of hardware engineering. "We expect this faster and advanced debug capability will help Trebia to maintain a leading edge in the market by allowing us to deliver robust, highly complex devices to our customers in a timely manner."
