Indian Startup Builds Full-Stack Edge AI Chips Using In-House IP
The Kerala-based Netrasemi has raised a total investment of nearly $14.5 million till now.

Indian semiconductor chip design startup Netrasemi has secured an investment of $12.5 million (₹107 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Zoho Corporation and Unicorn India Ventures. The company is developing chips for specific edge applications, including computer vision, image signal processing, and multi-sensor fusion.
“India has significant design capabilities. With India Semiconductor Mission supporting Design in India, the success of Netrasemi will encourage other Indian startups,” stated Ashwini Vaishnaw, Indian Union Minister for Electronics and IT, welcoming the development.
