Imagination Technologies Extends Relationship with International Electronics Systems Company with Significant Multi-year Licensing Deal
September 4, 2008 -- Imagination Technologies Group plc (LSE:IMG; "Imagination") - a leader in System-on-Chip Intellectual Property ("SoC IP") - reports that, further to its announcement on 6th July 2007 of an initial license agreement with an international electronics systems company, this company has now concluded a new multi-year, multi-use license agreement which gives it access to Imagination’s wide range of current and future POWERVR® graphics and video IP cores. As a result of this new agreement, it is expected that Imagination’s IP cores will feature in a number of new SoCs to be used in this company’s future products. Under the terms of the above licensing arrangement, Imagination will receive on-going licence fees as well as royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination’s IP.
