BOS Semiconductors Appoints Former Intel and Samsung Foundry Executive Hong Hao as Strategic Advisor

Industry Veteran in Foundry and SoC Strategy to Strengthen AI Semiconductor Innovation and Global Customer Ecosystem

May 28, 2026 -- BOS Semiconductors announced today the appointment of Hong Hao as Strategic Advisor, reinforcing the company’s technology leadership and global semiconductor business strategy.

Hong Hao brings more than 30 years of experience in semiconductor engineering, foundry business strategy, and global customer engagement. Most recently, he served as Corporate Vice President at Intel Foundry Services (IFS), where he led worldwide customer engagement and business development initiatives to expand Intel’s foundry business.

Prior to Intel, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Samsung’s North America Foundry Business, overseeing business strategy, marketing, customer engineering, and foundry ecosystem development. During his time at Samsung System LSI, he also led the development of high-performance and power-efficient ARM-based mobile and datacenter SoCs.

Throughout his career, Hong Hao has built a strong reputation for developing strategic customer partnerships, scaling semiconductor businesses, and leading advanced SoC and ASIC development programs. His extensive experience across foundry operations, semiconductor IP, and customer enablement is expected to play a key role in strengthening BOS Semiconductors’ next-generation AI semiconductor strategy and global customer engagement.
