The first XML IP exchange Technology available in the market today

While most of the worldwide contributions and working groups focus on IP cataloging D&R goes one step further by announcing its copyrighted IP Exchange XML based technology leading to reliable and well controlled IP data and file exchange on internet/intranet. An innovative feature which already exists is the attractive engineering oriented GUI interface allowing a designer to describe in addition to traditional information such as key features , claims etc the actual files defining its IP exchange socketization .This was already delivered within IP Manager Series^TM a D&R product and is demonstrated in the D&R IP e - Trading center.

But surely a stronger and more aggressive feature is the fact that such a description is captured in a XML format thus providing a formal description of the IP characteristics and delivery files. Starting form such an automatically generated XML description ,searching by using XML IP attributes as well as automatic upload/download from design data base is accomplished with ease .The tagging system has just to be understood by both partners.

The description content or format can be made flexible through the declaration of XML DTD (Document Type Definition) and thus is compliant with any standard or corporate requirements. D&R provides a by default format widely proven on its broad customer base.

This tool is an upgrade of IP Manager Series^TM from D&R comprising IP Catalog Builder^TM , IP Profiler^TM and Data Access Manager^TM . The two following modules to be delivered at DAC are called User Tracking System^TM and Support Manager^TM
