Overview
Truechip's SDI Verification IP offers a streamlined and efficient solution for verifying SDI (Serial Digital Interface) components within an IP or SoC. Truechip's VIP fully adheres to the SMPTE SDI Specifications (ST 259, ST 292, ST 424, ST 2081, ST 2082) covering SD-SDI, HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 12G-SDI. The VIP is lightweight, plug-and-play, and ensures minimum impact on design cycle time

- Supports all SDI standards: ST 259 (SD-SDI), ST 292 (HD-SDI), ST 424 (3G-SDI), ST 2081 (6G-SDI), ST 2082 (12G-SDI).
- Supports single-link, dual-link, and quad-link configurations.
- Supports 4:2:2, 4:4:4, 4:2:0, 4:4:4:4 ,4:2:2:4 and 4:2:0:4 image sampling formats.
- Supports Y'Cb'Cr', RGB, and I'CT'CP' color encoding.
- Payload ID insertion and checking as per ST 352.
- CRC generation and verification.
- HANC/VANC ancillary data support( ST 291-1) including audio packets. (4 to 32 audio channels supported)
- Assertions for line numbering and TRS sequence alignment.
- Supports progressive and interlaced image formats.
- Provides functional coverage for complete SDI feature set.
- Enables runtime debug through scrambling/descrambling visibility.
- Supports 24 bit digital audio format as per ST 299-2:2010
- Supports block wise checkers within Rx and Tx agents.
