Overview
PCM/FM (pulse code modulation/frequency modulation) is a telemetry modulation technique that uses a frequency-modulated carrier wave. It provides constant-envelope modulation with continuous phase. This minimizes spectral occupancy and improves resistance to interference and nonlinear amplification.
The PCM/FM Demodulator IP Core is a high-performance, comprehensive demodulator that features fully digital symbol and carrier synchronization, high dynamic range gain control, and soft-decision LLR output.
