NASP PPG is a Neuromorphic Analog Signal Processor (NASP) with Direct Analog Input (DAI) for real time edge pulse determination at a fraction of the power consumed by traditional devices.
NASP PPG IP Block
Overview
Key Features
- Input and output interfaces are adaptable and configurable for any type of digital bus line or analog signal, tailored to customer requirements.
Benefits
- NASP PPG IP Block/Chiplet provides the total solution, allowing neuromorphic pulse measurement with high accuracy for both zero motion and active states. NASP PPG is an edge device that works without an Internet or cloud connection.
- A wearable device, based on traditional system design with two MCUs and always-on HR monitoring, has about 48 hours of lifetime on one charge. Having NASP PPG as the sensor processing unit can extend that lifetime to about 66 hours.
- NASP PPG can save power and space on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and provide higher accuracy when used in place of Sensor MCUs.
