AI Memory Engine

Fully synthesizable and configurable memory subsystem designed to enhance power efficiency, performance, and endurance

Overview

Numem AIME IP is a fully synthesizable and configurable memory subsystem designed to enhance power efficiency, performance, and endurance — not only for Numem's MRAM, but also for third-party MRAM, RRAM, and Flash technologies. Built on Numem's patented architecture and deep memory expertise, it enables high-performance MRAM operation with SRAM-like speed and up to 100x lower standby power. With flexible power management supporting multiple operating modes, AIME precisely controls the non-volatile behavior of MRAM for ultra-low-power operation while maintaining high endurance and compatibility with SRAM- and DRAM-like architectures. The subsystem integrates seamlessly into Edge AI, Physical AI, and Data Center AI platforms. Its software-defined scalability eliminates the need for major hardware redesign, making MRAM a production-ready and future-proof memory solution for next-generation AI workloads.

The AI Memory Engine (AIME) is Numem's patented, silicon-integrated system architecture that transforms memory into an intelligent, software-defined subsystem. By dynamically managing power, endurance, and data movement—and integrating digital near-memory compute capabilities—AIME maximizes performance per watt and unlocks the full potential of non-volatile memory. Purpose-built for AI workloads, AIME enables efficient, scalable memory architectures from edge to data center. Together, Numem MRAM and AIME deliver SRAM-class latency and high bandwidth, enabling fast, efficient data access and accelerated AI processing.
