Santa Clara, CA, April 24, 2006 - Ingot Systems, Inc., the leading provider of Electronic Design Solutions, today announced the spinoff of MemCore, Inc., as a wholly owned subsidiary, to focus exclusively on providing customers with high-performance application-proven memory controller solutions for ASIC/SoC and FPGA technologies.

Ingot Systems has spent over three years in the development of memory controller technology featuring its unique architecture that uses an advanced scheduling algorithm and a low-latency memory interface to provide guaranteed high system bandwidth. Ingot has licensed its memory controller IP to multiple customers spanning a wide range of applications and targeting 0.13u, 90nm and 65nm process technologies.
