Defacto’s SoC Compiler Drastically Improved Productivity of L&T Semiconductor Technologies
July 16, 2026 - Grenoble, France - Defacto Technologies today announced the successful collaboration with L&T Semiconductor Technologies (LTCST), helping reducing drastically design time and engineering resources to build new generation of SoCs.
"Defacto's SoC Compiler has become a key enabler in our SoC RTL integration flow. LTSCT have successfully developed a TCL-driven automation framework with Defacto operating underneath as the integration engine. The solution automatically generates complete hierarchical RTL for our Digital Compute SoC with remarkable efficiency and consistency." Said Chandan Gupta, Director of SoC Frontend RTL Integration & DFT and LTSCT.
Mr. Gupta added :"What previously required extensive manual effort can now be generated in less than five minutes for more than 250,000 lines of SoC RTL. The tool has significantly improved our engineering productivity, reduced integration errors, and enabled our team to focus on architecture and design quality rather than repetitive integration tasks. We are impressed with the robustness, flexibility, Support and performance of Defacto's solution and look forward to expanding its usage across future SoC programs."
“The collaboration with LTSCT confirms solid capabilities of our EDA solutions to manage complex RTL to meet aggressive Turn Around Time while reducing engineers’ cost”, said Chouki Aktouf, Founder & CEO of Defacto Technologies. Mr. Aktouf added, “With the upcoming Defacto’s SoC Compiler new capabilities, we are looking forward to help improve productivity of LTSCT design teams even much higher”.
