Dr. Carlos Azeredo Leme is appointed Executive Vice-President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Dr. Carlos Azeredo Leme has 15 years experience in high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP and complex SoC design and is a co-founder of Chipidea Microelectrónica, S.A. In his new assignment, Dr. Carlos Azeredo Leme will coordinate the overall engineering operations of the Company worldwide and will spearhead the new developments of strategic IP platforms, particularly in the areas of consumer electronics, communications, portable power and multimedia, to consolidate Chipidea’s leading position in the market as a supplier of high added-value IP system solutions for embedded SOC applications..
Mr. Nuno Ramalho is appointed Vice-President of IP Systems Solutions Division, the largest Chipidea IP division, which encompasses the Power Solutions Group, the Baseband Solutions Group, the Broadband and RF Group and the IP Productization Group.
Mr. Luis Miguel Sampaio is appointed General Manager of the Digital Technology Center at TecMaia, Porto, and Vice-President of Connectivity Solutions with direct responsibility for the coordination of the Line Transceivers Group at ChipIdea-Gdansk.
Dr. Y. Ben is appointed General Manager of Chipidea (Macau) Ltd. and Vice-President IP Operations Asia-Pacific with direct responsibility to interface with Chipidea's customers in the Asia-Pacific Region (except Japan).
