Cambridge Consultants doubles US office
Adds four new US staffers, expects more in service to the medical device industry
March 23, 2005 -- Cambridge Consultants, a 45-year old outsourced product design, development and technology consulting firm founded in Cambridge UK, announced that it has hired four more staff members in its US headquarters office in Boston. These appointments have more than doubled the size of the Boston office in the past six months, and allow Cambridge Consultants to staff a US laboratory and expand sales and marketing functions in service to the firm’s medical device clients.
The new hires include G. Wayne Booker, named as Head of Business Development. Booker formerly ran his own engineering consultancy after having led sales and marketing at Product Genesis. In addition to leading US marketing and sales efforts, he carries overall project responsibility for a number of programs in patient monitoring, critical care and coronary disease.

- Christopher Kadamus, Senior Design Engineer. Kadamus previously worked at ACMI Corporation as a product development engineer.
- Mark Manasas, Project Manager, Medical Devices. A mechanical engineer, Manasas formerly ran Manasas R&D, a medical device consultancy. Prior to that he was V.P. of Engineering at Fossa Medical, Inc.
- Miwa Watkins, SPHR, as Human Resources Consultant. A HR executive experienced at staffing startups, Ms. Watkins worked with SoftArtisans, and AIR, Inc., prior to working with Cambridge Consultants.
