Windows On ARM: For Intel (And AMD And Via), Probably No Cause For Alarm
One of the myriad things that I appreciate about this gig is that my charter (unlike that of my counterparts at EETimes) is predominantly to be a technology analyst, not a news hound. Granted, I sometimes publish writeups coincident with a company’s embargo timeframe (especially when I get pre-briefed with sufficient lead time…hint, hint, hint, vendors…), and I also don’t turn down a scoop when one falls into my lap. But I’m often afforded the luxury of contemplating a tech development for hours-to-days before committing my thoughts to cyber-paper, versus getting something published as soon as is humanly possible.
