Verisity And eInfochips Deliver PCI-X e Verification Component

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. December 17, 2001 - Verisity Ltd. (Nasdaq: VRST), the leader in functional verification automation, and it's Verification Alliance[tm] partner eInfochips today announced the availability of an eVC[tm] (e Verification Component) for the PCI-X standard. eVCs are reusable plug-and-play verification components for standard interfaces based on Verisity's high-level verification language, e. The PCI-X eVC from eInfochips contains all of the verification components for the PCI-X portion of a design and dramatically cuts the time it takes to create the system's verification environment.

"The PCI-X eVC provides robust and configurable verification that can be easily integrated in a Specman Elite[tm] environment and it comes with a large suite of tests to validate the complete functionality,” said Niraj Patel, Project Lead, for eVCs at eInfochips.

By using eVCs, verification engineers can reduce the amount of work needed to create a verification environment and shorten the time it takes to begin running self-checking tests. The PCI-X eVC can be used in a variety of design applications and includes three integrated components: input generators for generating and injecting traffic, monitors and checkers for both data integrity and protocols, and functional coverage analysis.

The Verification Alliance program enables partners to develop and distribute eVCs as well as provide customers with verification methodology consulting and training services based on Verisity solutions.

"The Verification Alliance program has been a great resource for our customers for both additional consulting services and eVCs," said Dave Tokic, director of strategic marketing for Verisity. "eInfochips' PCI-X eVC is an important component of a verification environment for any design containing the PCI-X standard. "

Pricing and Availability
The PCI-X eVC is available now from eInfochips for $15000.
